FIRESTEEL HOLDER will hold up to 3/8" rods. a Piece of Elastic Shock cord will be included for your firesteel handle lanyard. Just install the firesteel rod till it sticks out the other side, then stretch the shock cord loop from handle over the tip of rod for retention. DO NOT JUST RELY ON THE HOLDERS RETENTION! The rod WILL THIN from striking the rod over time and WILL eventually be too thin for retention ONLY style of holding!!
